What is an HSA?

HSA is the acronym for Health Savings Account. It is a type of personal saving account, but it can only be used for qualified healthcare products and services. It is available for US taxpayers who have specifically enrolled in a High-Deductible Health Plan. Health Saving Accounts have important tax advantages. The contributions to this account are made before your income is taxed, you don’t pay taxes on the account’s growth, and you don’t pay on the withdrawals either.

What is an FSA account?

FSA is the acronym of Flexible Spending Account. It is often part of an employee’s benefits package. This account allows you to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare expenses for you and your family members. In simple terms; If you are in the 22% tax bracket, you save $22 for every $100 spent on eligible healthcare products and services.

How do I get reimbursed if I can’t use my HSA/FSA card to purchase kegg?

kegg – as all fertility monitors – is HSA/FSA eligible. An order confirmation email is in many cases enough to submit for reimbursement. Every HSA/FSA plan can have slightly different requirements. We recommend contacting your HSA or FSA provider to verify if kegg is covered by your individual plan.

* kegg discounts can’t be applied to purchases made directly on FSA/HSA stores.
